The Position

The Business System Analyst focuses on assisting with requirement gathering, supporting project objectives, and performing routine data analysis under the guidance of more experienced analysts. In this entry-level role, you will operate within well-defined, routine tasks, focusing on continuous learning and applying core business analysis principles. By supporting the delivery of clearly documented requirements and assisting with problem definition, you will build foundational skills while contributing to the design of specific IT solution features.


Pharma Technical Development (PTD) collaborates across Research & Development to efficiently transform scientific ideas into products by developing robust and efficient manufacturing processes and quality control systems. They reliably deliver the clinical pipeline, supplying quality products for patients enrolled in clinical studies worldwide, while developing new and convenient Drug Delivery Systems for patients.

Responsibilities

Scope / (Content Leadership):

  • Operates within well-defined, routine tasks under close supervision, with a primary focus on continuous learning and adherence to established business analysis principles, frameworks, and standards.
  • Executes work within existing templates and processes, proactively seeking clarification and collaborating effectively with team members to build confidence and capability.

Accountability/Problem Solving:

  • Supports senior Business Analysts in analyzing business problems within a defined scope, contributing to problem definition, and identifying potential root causes under guidance.
  • Elicits and clarifies stakeholder needs, analyzes and maps requirements, and assists in identifying and presenting basic solutions. Accountable for the timely completion and quality of assigned discrete tasks and delivering clearly documented requirements.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Identifies primary team members and internal stakeholders within a project, interacting closely with agile team members working on IT solutions.
  • Acts as a supportive communicator and information gatherer, assisting in preparing basic project updates, capturing stakeholder feedback, and clarifying basic requirements on small, well-defined engagements.

Impact/Strategy:

  • Focuses on participation, observation, and learning to understand foundational objectives and their relevance. Makes foundational contributions to project objectives while learning how they align with broader goals.

Complexity / (Product Size):

  • Works typically on a single solution level, supporting the analysis and documentation of requirements for specific features or functionalities.
  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze individual solution components and understands the basic impacts of changes within this limited scope.

Business / Technical ability:

  • Exhibits a basic understanding and application of tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis.
  • Possesses a foundational understanding of the relevant business or technical domain and supporting technologies.

Who you are

Education / Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis with a focus on assisting with requirement gathering, supporting project objectives, and performing routine data analysis under guidance.
  • Demonstrated eagerness for continuous learning and adherence to established business analysis principles, frameworks, and standards.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding and application of tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis.
  • Foundational understanding of the relevant business or technical domain and supporting technologies.

Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated foundational awareness of how different parts of an organization interact.
  • Fundamental understanding of agile principles, translating business needs into user stories and supporting the technical team with domain knowledge.
  • Strong collaborative skills, with a readiness to act as an escalation assistant and proactively seek clarification from team members.
  • Understanding of GxP environment and validation constraint
  • Knowledge of Pharma Technical Operations clearly an asset

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Warsaw Grafit is 121,800.00 PLN - 226,200.00 PLN. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, including your skills, experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus with a target of 12% subject to both individual and company performance.
