Business Systems Analyst – Fells (Client-Supported Hire)

Location: Kings Langley (WD4)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (TBC)

Job type: Permanent, full-time, flexible/hybrid working (up to two days from home)

We are supporting our client Fells, one of the UK’s leading fine wine distributors, in their search for a talented Business Systems Analyst.

Successful candidates will be employed directly by Fells. Our role is to help identify and introduce suitable applicants who are passionate about business systems and eager to contribute to a respected, values-driven company.

The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the Systems Manager to support, maintain, and enhance Fells’ business systems and applications. This is a hands-on role focused on system administration, user support, data management, and process automation. You’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth operations, supporting process improvements, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and maintaining core business systems and applications
  • Provide system administration support, including user access management and issue resolution
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation
  • Support system updates, integrations, and project rollouts
  • Develop and maintain reports (Excel, Power Query, Power BI)
  • Assist with workflow automation (Power Automate, PowerApps)
  • Provide user support and training
  • Manage company mobile phones and support data quality initiatives

Key Skills

  • Experience supporting business systems (ideally with SQL-based ERP exposure)
  • Strong data management and reporting skills (Excel, Power Query, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools (Power Automate, PowerApps)
  • Excellent IT proficiency and communication skills
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive approach
