We are looking to hire a Buisness System Analyst to join our team. This role is eligible for hybrid or remote.

This is a full time, exempt role.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for designing, enhancing, and supporting business systems that drive organizational objectives and business outcomes. Serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, the BSA acts as the primary point of contact for system functionality, providing expertise on both business processes and technical capabilities. This role leverages a strong understanding of information systems, business operations, and process improvement to analyze business needs, elicit and document requirements, and support the development and implementation of effective technology solutions. The BSA ensures that business and technical requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and aligned with strategic goals.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Partners with business and technology teams to support, enhance, and optimize financial systems that drive business outcomes.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements, analyzing processes, and delivering solutions that improve operational efficiency and support strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a key liaison between stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors, ensuring technology solutions align with business needs and enterprise standards.
  • Lead financial initiatives, support solution design, testing, and deployment activities, and provide guidance to team members while driving continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting complex business and technology initiatives.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions that drive operational effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in data management, data analysis, data integration, and database technologies.
  • Experience supporting corporate financial systems and related business processes is preferred, along with strong financial acumen and an understanding of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities, influence stakeholders, mentor team members, and translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with expertise in Finance, business process analysis, data governance, and systems implementation
  • Experience with financial concepts and analytics tools such as Essbase, SmartView, Oracle Cloud Products (Hyperion), VBA, and SQL is preferred, along with technical development skills in SQL, Essbase Calculation Scripts, Microsoft Access, and Visual Basic.

Compensation

The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus (which could take the form of a general bonus, sales incentive, or short-term incentive), long-term incentive or spot recognition awards. The posted range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
