Main Duties & Responsibilities
The primary focus will assist in the
EPICOR ERP application implementation, assist in conceptual designs, reporting
and key Business Analytics. The successful candidate will work with the global
IT and manufacturing teams to lead technology driven business process
transformation and innovation in the manufacturing IT environment.

Primary
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work as a member of PennAero Corporate IT to set up and be part of an ERP implementation in compliance with IT policies, the IT internal control framework, and cybersecurity.
Work with the EPICOR ERP vendor to design and implement the required business solutions and data flows to achieve best in class financial and manufacturing system.
Primarily develop business solutions using EPICOR ERP to support financial and manufacturing processes.
Work with solution providers to develop, implement, and continuously improve Business Analytics, and KPI outputs.
Perform data mining, data analysis, develop reports and queries in support of production, finance, sales, etc.
Proven background in SQL Queries, Stored Procedures and SQL Server Management Studio.
Support and implement corporate data governance and master data initiatives.
Analyzes technical and business requirements and translates them into system specifications.
Conducts individual and group training sessions.
Install, Setup, Configure, Implement, Integrate and Testing of EPICOR ERP solutions.
Document Application Requirements, Technical Specifications, Use-Cases, and Workflow Processes.
Diagnose and troubleshoot business solutions implemented in EPICOR ERP.
Enforcement of company compliance, safety, environmental, governmental policies, and regulations as they apply.
Must possess strong analytical skills, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and user support skills with the ability to effectively translate functional and technical specifications into solutions.
Solid experience in integration data mapping, data loader activities and API solutions.
Travel
Requirements: 15% - 20%
+ or As Needed Travel to support related facilities.
This role is based out of El Cajon, CA, but may require travel to Simi Valley, CA and India.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2-4 Years using ERP like EPICOR or Infor Syteline or Infor Distribution Enterprise or Dynamics 365.
Minimum of 2 Years using Business Analytics tools like PowerBI.
Good understanding of Database Schema, programming methods, and business process workflow.
Ability to design/enhance Data Lake applications.
Able to communicate effectively with employees in a professional and friendly manner.
Able to work independently as a productive member of a team.
Solid skills as it relates to MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, familiarity with Project Management tools.
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, manufacturing/industrial engineering and related studies (or equivalent project-related experience).
Minimum 2 years of IT experience using MS SQL Queries and Stored Procedures, SQL Server Management Studio, PowerBI, Tableau, IoT, and ERP Systems.
3-5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
Cloud computing experience desired.
PMP or related Project Management experience desired.
EPICOR or Infor or Dynamics 365 ERP programming skills desired.
Strong knowledge of SDLC.
Working Conditions:
Intermittent exposure to indoor manufacturing environment
Intermittent exposure to moderate noise
Exposure to hazardous chemical environment.
Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes, odors, hot / cold temperatures, inside / outside noise vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.
Must be able to support a 24/7 operation.
Some travel is required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds on an intermittent basis.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and work at heights on an intermittent basis.
Requires hand manipulation including simple grasping, pushing and pulling of materials.
Must be able to reach and work above and below the shoulder level.
Must be able to work with and around forklifts and hazardous machinery.
Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
This role involves access to technical data and/or hardware subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). In order to comply with these laws, employment is contingent upon verifying your status as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, or obtaining any required government authorization.
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $95,000 - $130,000.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our recruiting team during the interview process.
