ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Faci li tat ing in tera ct ive discussions with the busin ess un it and t echnology teams in or der to achieve al ignment on d efin ing r equir ements.
  • Ability to elicit details system requirements and create workflows to solution business demand.
  • G athe ring, a nalyzing, d ocumenting, and t ranslati ng busin ess r equir ements into fun ct ion al sp ecifi cat ions th at can be us ed to design and impl ement solut ions to me et the busin ess obje ct iv es.
  • Ident ifying and com mun icat ing risks, issues, and potential solut ion str ategi es along wi th providing s tatus upd ates to senior le ad ership and i mpa cted t eam mates.
  • L eading fa ci lita ted s ess ions with busin ess use rs to id ent ify system enh an cements.
  • Do cumenting and g ai ni ng sig n-off on busin ess r equir ement s
  • Com munic at ing p roje ct prio ri ties to IT t eam.
  • Assis ting with the cr eat ing of tr ain ing mat eri al and tr ai ning end us ers on sy stem

  • Providing r eports and d ata extr acts to in tern al and exte rn al bus in ess p artn ers.
  • T raining, mento ring, and supporting other sta ff m embe rs
  • This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

REQUIRED:

  • A minimum 8 – 10 years of related experience
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft suite, Office365; focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with new system implementations, workflows, requirements gathering and software life cycle.
  • Insurance industry experience (Personal Lines – Home Owners).
  • Experience working with offshore resource model.
  • Mentoring and giving direction to peers.

PREFERRED:

  • Insurance industry experience in MGU.
  • Experience with Unqork, Solartis and Salesforce systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY ON A REGULAR BASIS:

  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
  • Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
  • Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day.
