We are looking for a highly analytical, self-driven Business Analyst to join our Agile development team as we continue building the next generation of CSC's License Pro application.

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, navigating ambiguity, and partnering closely with both business and technical teams to design innovative solutions.

Success in this role requires someone who can quickly develop expertise in a complex business domain, think critically, ask the right questions, and independently drive initiatives from discovery through implementation.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, stakeholder meetings, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, and solution reviews.
  • Develop clear, complete, and well-organized documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, wireframes, and functional specifications.
  • Build a deep understanding of complex business processes and system functionality while becoming a trusted subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate daily with developers, QA engineers, architects, and Product Owners to ensure requirements are understood and successfully implemented.
  • Help maintain and prioritize the product backlog by identifying dependencies, risks, and business value.
  • Lead business process analysis and future-state design initiatives that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, validate delivered functionality, and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
  • Support change management efforts by assisting with communication, training, documentation, and solution adoption.
  • Monitor solution effectiveness after implementation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivering high-quality work.

What technical skills, qualifications, and experience do you need?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst on Agile software development teams.
  • Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex business problems independently.
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in sophisticated business applications and complex business processes.
  • Strong project management, organization, and documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, driving consensus, and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, workflow documentation, and functional specifications.
