Your Job

This opportunity is for a Business Systems Analyst to join the Payroll Technology Team.You will support global system enhancements, partnering and collaborating with the product owner to architect technical solutions, implement system configurations and developments.The role also provide exposure to local, and US pay and tax rules that define the logic for employee pay processing and time off earned.

A successful candidate is motivated to learn, has high technical aptitude, thinks critically about both processes and system functionality, drives change, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Interpersonal skills, effective collaboration and communication, analytical skills, and ability to work with others in a diverse culture will be key to your success in this role.

The Payroll Technology team is a collaborative and diverse group of individuals who support payroll applications for companies across Koch. We provide value to Koch by transforming the user experience, eliminating manual processes, and securing a smooth process for employees’ pay. Members of this team work together to advance our processes, initiatives, vision, and strategy. Members of our team are interested in expanding their knowledge of the system while working to support customers through issued tickets and configuration projects.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to develop profitable well-designed solutions for Payroll.

· Lead or participate in discussions to define system designs and business requirements.

  • Ability to write detailed business requirements
  • Develop system configuration based on business requirements
  • Share or lead problem solving effort for production support.
  • Resolve system issues and support escalations.
  • Identify opportunities for processes and system improvements to enhance efficiency and day-to-day activities.
  • Foster personal and team development by sharing knowledge and growing capabilities.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience supporting global payroll systems, with a strong understanding of payroll processing.
  • Familiar with system configuration, integration technologies, and development, plus a strong willingness to expand technical skills.
  • Experience working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to solve complex problems.

· Proven accountability and ownership of tasks, including clear and timely communication with all stakeholders.

  • Experience building collaborative relationships with business partners and teams.
  • Passion for designing impactful payroll solutions that align with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones and in a multicultural environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Knowledge of payroll systems with hands-on experience in SAP, ADP, and Dayforce preferred.
  • Strong Business Systems Analysis (BSA) skills with a demonstrated desire to perform system configuration.
  • Experience in supporting global customers and working in Agile product teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of local payroll and HR regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with service ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of or eagerness to learn US tax support related to payroll.
