Job Category: Information TechnologyThe Business Systems Analyst works closely with information technology professionals and business users to identify and solve organizational problems by redesigning and injecting technology into business processes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create solutions that support business strategies.
- Acts as a liaison between IT professionals and business users.
- Document system requirements.
- Facilitate review of system requirements with cross-functional team members.
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
- Hold test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
- Execute test cases and report test results.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- BS or BA degree or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years of requirements gathering and system testing experience
- Experience with vendor system integration through API endpoints
- Experience with XML data mapping
- Experience with workflow or process efficiency improvements
- Knowledge of mortgage banking business processes preferred
- Experience in agile development process
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Detail oriented with the ability to exercise sound judgment
- Self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Experience working and communicating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn into action
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
