Job Description

Business Systems Analyst – Oracle ERP & EPM

  • Permanent, full‑time position
  • Flexible, hybrid working environment
  • A hands‑on role supporting critical Finance platforms across Oracle ERP and EPM

At AustralianSuper, we truly care about our colleagues. We know work and life are intertwined. That’s why we support the diverse needs of everyone and have policies that enable us all to thrive and be truly flexible. We ensure diversity is celebrated for the opportunity it provides us all to learn and grow and deliver better outcomes for members.

Your New Role

Are you an Oracle specialist who enjoys solving real business problems while keeping critical systems running smoothly?

As a Business Systems Analyst – Oracle ERP & EPM, you’ll sit within the Enterprise Platforms team and play a key role supporting and enhancing the Fund’s Oracle enterprise platform. This includes ensuring stable, effective day‑to‑day operation of Oracle ERP and EPM, while contributing to ongoing change, upgrades and continuous improvement.

You’ll work closely with Finance, HR and Technology stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact for functional queries and system issues — translating business needs into practical solutions, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve how platforms are used and managed.

This role suits someone who enjoys a mix of BAU support and change involvement, and who is confident working across stakeholders, systems and vendors to deliver better outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide functional support for Oracle ERP and EPM, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed service levels
  • Act as an escalation point for complex issues, working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve problems
  • Analyse tickets and incidents to identify trends, root causes and opportunities for system or process improvement
  • Support testing, releases and quarterly Oracle upgrades, including impact assessments and post‑release support
  • Deliver insights and reporting on system performance, usage and recurring issues
  • Work closely with stakeholders to support adoption, improve processes and ensure platforms meet business needs

What You’ll Need

  • Strong hands‑on experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud platforms, particularly ERP and EPM (essential)
  • Experience working in a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst or Application Support role
  • Exposure to BAU support, service management, and incident/ticket resolution environments
  • Experience supporting testing, releases and upgrade cycles within enterprise platforms
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, particularly across Finance and Technology teams

Highly Regarded additional expertise

  • Exposure to Oracle HCM in addition to ERP and EPM
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and challenge requests to deliver better business outcomes
