Job Description
This position is a full-time, office-based position in Austin, TX and will be a member of the WhiteWater Marketing and Logistics team. Responsibilities include developing custom solutions for trading analytics, and process improvements for front and back office areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom code to support the trading and back office functions in M&L.
- Work closely with M&L to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and controls.
- Hold requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders
- Execute projects in a meticulous and timely manner
- Perform routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Design and prototype data analytics reporting, in both Excel and Power BI
- Develop automation solutions to support/reduce processes
- Design effective data models in the databases to support the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical area with 2 years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of Midstream industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of: Excel VBA, Python, SQL, Transact/SQL (MS SQL Server), Power BI, GitHUB, AWS Redshift
- High proficiency in MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word
- Demonstrated knowledge of Workflow and Business Procedures
- Excellent problem solving, time management, analytical and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Communication and Teamwork skills required: Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and effectively collaborate with others to optimize team success

- Experience in the field of Oil and Gas.
- Trading Front/Back office experience.
