About the Role
We’re a B2B distributor investing in an exceptional digital customer experience. As our Ecommerce Business Systems Analyst, you’ll translate business processes into clear, actionable requirements and coordinate delivery with our external development partner and internal teams. You’ll own requirements, backlog health, UAT, and release readiness across our e‐commerce platform and adjacent systems (ERP, PIM, payments, CRM, site search). Your work will directly impact conversion, customer retention, site performance, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
Lead discovery & analysis: Document current and future workflows (registration, shopping behavior, checkout, account).
Translate needs into requirements: Produce user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria consumable by technical teams.
Own the backlog & delivery cadence: Prioritize by business value and feasibility; ensure stories are “ready” for sprint planning.
Partner with our development agency: Clarify scope, review increments, support Agile ceremonies, and maintain release plans.
Lead QA/UAT: Define test plans, triage defects, and sign off on release readiness.
Coordinate internally: Align Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Technology on requirements and dependencies.
Document & communicate changes: Maintain runbooks and deployment notes; deliver knowledge transfer/training as needed.
Measure & improve: Track KPIs (e.g., conversion, search success, customer churn); synthesize analytics and feedback into backlog items.
Manage risk & dependencies: Surface risks early and coordinate integrations across ERP, PIM/DAM, payments, CRM, and search.
Success Looks Like
Healthy, prioritized backlog; predictable sprint/release delivery.
Improved KPI trends (conversion, search success, average order value).
Low defect escape rate; strong UAT pass rates and smooth cutovers.
Clear documentation and stakeholder alignment on changes.
QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring
2+ years in a Business Systems Analyst or Product Owner role for e‐commerce or complex digital products (B2B preferred).
Hands‐on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria; comfortable leading backlog refinement and UAT.
Working knowledge of Agile delivery exposure (Jira/Azure DevOps or similar) and experience working with technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with ERP‐commerce integrations, catalog/PIM/DAM, payments, CRM, and search.
Excellent facilitation and stakeholder communication; ability to translate business needs into actionable, testable requirements.
Nice to Have
Experience with B2B platforms (e.g., OroCommerce, Adobe Commerce/Magento, BigCommerce B2B).
Comfort with GA4, A/B testing, and light SQL or data querying.
