Design and implement information technology systems and processes to support the business, engineering, manufacturing, procurement and financial activities of the business unit.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzes engineering, operations, manufacturing and business information systems, and related processes to design and integrate applications and systems.
  • Analyzes technical requirements to formulate and develop new and modified information processing solutions.
  • Determines techniques to improve the basis for decision making and program design and execution.
  • Develops, maintains, tests and establishes operating specifications for information processing systems.
  • Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
  • Develops an understanding of the customer’s processes and contributes to the simplification of processes and elimination of unneeded elements.
  • Monitors and tests applications to verify system functionality, quality and accuracy.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of system documentation.
  • Communicates effectively across functional lines to ensure business priorities are met.

Job Qualifications

  • Education

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience, required

    Essential

    • MUST BE A U.S Citizen.
    • Must be a technical expert in area subject matter demonstrated by documented experience in analysis, process design and workflow, research, installation/implementation and support of software applications and systems. Develops detailed functional system and programming specifications.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years in programming and systems analysis with proven prior experience in systems/ application process and workflow analysis, application/system analysis, programming, and experience working on project team(s).
    • Must possess skills and experience in oral and written communications, including analysis documentation, project management deliverables and documentation, application/systems specifications, project preparation, risk identification and escalation, and report presentation
