As the Business Systems Analyst (Maximo) I, you will support the day-to-day operations of IBM Maximo at the Airports Authority.

Business Systems Analyst (Maximo) I

This is a developmental-level position and may lead to the next level of the Business Systems Analyst (Maximo) career ladder.
After 12 months of successful performance and upon completing the following:
• Familiarize with the Authority’s Enterprise Asset Management System Maximo.
• Learn to use the Enterprise Reporting Tool QlikSense.
• Demonstrate good understanding of the Preventive Maintenance and Work Order Tracking Functional Areas.
• Support the day-to-day operations of Maximo.
• Develop awareness of Maximo Parts and Materials Functional Area.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with the stakeholders to identify, create, and present the QlikSense Dashboards to Executives and Operational Users.
• Complete at least one IBM Maximo Training course (ex, IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.x – Manage: For Functional Users).

A one-grade increase is awarded non-competitively, and the incumbent remains on this job profile.

After a total of 24 months of successful performance, and upon demonstrable mastery of higher-level skills, and upon completing the following:

• Demonstrate good understanding of the Parts and Materials/Inventory Functional Area.
• Manage day-to-day operations of Maximo.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with the stakeholders to design, build, test, and deploy Maximo integrations to Production.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with the stakeholders to create a roadmap for Maximo enhancements.
• Demonstrate ability to manage Maximo Security.
• Complete at least one IBM Maximo Training course (ex, IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.x - Manage: For Developers/Administrators).
• Complete COTR Training.

A one-grade increase is awarded non-competitively, and they transition to the full performance level Business Systems Analyst (Maximo) II (SBSM154) position.

Works under the general supervision of the Business Transformation and Performance Director.

Serves in the Office of Strategy and Business Transformation and Performance in the Headquarters Office.

Provides program and business systems support, ensuring Maximo processes function according to established guidelines; coordinates with and assists business units with the updates and enhancements to the Maximo platform from a technical, functional, and business process perspective. Performs related functions.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides technical support and guidance to users, addressing inquiries and resolving Maximo-related concerns.

Assist in monitoring system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.

Collaborate with team members to coordinate the implementation of new Maximo modules, features, integrations, and updates

Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand business procedures/workflows to ensure system features are being used effectively. Assist in performing system administration tasks, including configuration and maintenance.

Performs audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy.

Support the development of dashboards and reports using tools such as QlikSense and BIRT.

Provides report administration for custom reports for varied users.

Assist in defining, analyzing, and documenting system changes and updates.

Defines, analyzes, and documents functional and technical system documentation for customization and maintenance actions taken.

Participates in cross-functional coordination of release management activities.

Provides input in creating and establishing release management processes, including developing release management risk and mitigation strategies.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

One year of progressively responsible experience implementing, managing, or supporting business systems.

Experience building SQL queries for reporting.

Ability to perform analyses of data and information and make recommendations.

Ability to communicate effectively, with emphasis on communicating technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Self-starter, handling multiple assignments concurrently.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with data analytics and reporting tools such as QlikSense, Power BI, and Tableau.

IBM Maximo Certification.

Experience with IBM Maximo or any other CMMS systems in support of facility operations and maintenance service.

EDUCATION

A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field.
