Business Support Services Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Support Services Manager to join our dynamic Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) team in Brazil
The candidate will manage a growing team and be part of a leadership team that heads the country’s workplace strategy and operations. This includes leading Business Support services primarily including office operations management, and delegated business activities such as Enterprise Services, Human Resources, Security & Fire Protection, Global Real Estate, Facilities & Asset Management, Information Technology and Indirect Supply Chain. In addition, the role will support Business Compliance, Business Continuity, Environmental Health & Safety, Finance Services, and Travelers/Immigration Support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish and manage the weekly, monthly, and annual operating rhythm for Brazil such that it fulfills the requirements of the businesses as well as the CLA Region.
  • Define and maintain the regional concept of operations.
  • Manage and supervise on a daily basis a team located in region.
  • Lead Safety and safe operation in the workplace.
  • Ensure quality assurance of the function to audit standards.
  • Guarantee compliance items are completed on time and accurately
  • Execute against country strategies and support Boeing’s businesses as needed.
  • Provide reports per BGES operating rhythm and keep KPIs in acceptable range.
  • Manage integrated services and functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Lead, execute, and participate in team meetings (country, regional and BGES).
  • Identify and Support Global and Regional improvement projects.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
  • Must have a degree or higher.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English.
  • Experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • Experience coordinating the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serving as liaison between project and team, finance, planning, scheduling and management.
  • Experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding.
  • Experience managing teams spread across multiple locations.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master's Degree or MBA.
  • Ability to effectively manage in a complex and dynamic environment and to collaborate and partner with business leaders.
  • Ability to act as a Thought Leader.
  • Ability to align customer requirements with the broader organization.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.
Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.
Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
