Supporting Virtual School
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children's Directorate.
This post is within the Virtual Schools Team based at County Hall, Preston PR1 8XJ providing outstanding support to the Virtual Head and Deputy Virtual Head, a group of Educational Consultants and a variety of Childrens Social Care operational staff and managers. You could be really experienced in administration or looking to build on your previous experience and there's no better place to do this than with us.
What we are looking for:
Passion –You'll be passionate about delivering a great service and experience, it's what will motivate you, getting it right first time, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you've developed elsewhere.
Knowledge and Experience – Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.
Great Communication – You'll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.

We are currently working a combination of office and home working, therefore, you will be required to have a suitable working space within your home and broadband connection for non-office days. As this is a full time post the office working days will be Tuesday and Friday, however, this could change or depending on workload needs you may be required to work from the office on additional days.
