What You'll Do
The Centre of Excellence (COE) is the driving force behind SmartPA, where strategy comes to life. As part of this dynamic, client-facing department, you'll be the heartbeat of our business - delivering high-impact, tailored support to clients daily.

In the role of Business Support Executive, you’ll provide dedicated, tailored support to a single client, working closely with them to understand their priorities and challenges. You’ll build a strong, trusted relationship, deliver bespoke solutions, and play a key role in driving their day-to-day success and long-term outcomes.

Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

Operational Delivery

  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of business assignments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and high-quality standards.
  • Prioritising and organising your workload to meet deadlines across multiple tasks and workstreams.
  • Tracking progress against SLAs and KPIs, using project tracking tools to monitor deliverables and performance.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring governance and quality assurance standards are consistently met.
  • Using systems, digital tools, and automation solutions to work efficiently and effectively.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Providing regular updates to team leaders and key stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Attending stakeholder meetings to align on priorities, resolve issues, and share progress.
  • Supporting issue resolution and contributing to maintaining high quality and service standards.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce non–value-added activity.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Contributing ideas and insight on automation and digital solutions to drive operational excellence.

Your experience is key, but your attitude is what sets you apart

Essential:

  • Proven experience in business operations, administration, or client service delivery.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Intermediate technical proficiency, including systems navigation, data entry, and digital tools.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including GSuite, systems navigation, data entry, and digital tools.

Desirable:

  • Experience in process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with automation platforms or digital workflow tools.
  • Background in client account management, office management, or similar service-led roles.

R 200,000 - R 400,000 per year

Schedule

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Permanent positions

Monday - Friday

Your working hours will be 2:00pm to 10:30pm (UK time), aligned to cover the 9:00am to 5:30pm (EST) business day. Time currently 4:00pm to 12:30am (SAST).
