Job Description

A leading semi-state energy organisation is seeking a Business Support Coordinator to join their Strategic Delivery and Commercial (SDC) team in Dublin 2. The role supports the provision and operation of Contingent Labour across all business units.

This position will work closely with hiring managers and recruitment agencies to coordinate the end-to-end contingent labour hiring process and support contract negotiations.

This role offers a day rate of up to €275 per day

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to facilitate the end-to-end Contingent Labour hiring process
• Act as the main point of contact for agencies, managing queries and ensuring smooth communication
• Manage CVs, maintain tracking reports and support procurement scoring processes
• Schedule interviews and provide support to hiring managers throughout the selection process
• Follow up with hiring managers and approvers to ensure timely completion of required actions
• Support onboarding by issuing relevant documentation and system access guidance
• Maintain accurate records, shared folders and access controls in line with governance requirements
• Manage applications related to contractor onboarding and tracking
• Provide general administrative support, including meeting coordination and day-to-day team assistance

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant role, preferably with business administration responsibilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation, reporting and influencing
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Comfortable using digital tools for collaboration, reporting and workflow management

Desirable

• Knowledge of GDPR
• Knowledge of Power BI and dashboards

Additional Information

• Based at offices in Dublin 2
• Hybrid working with 2 days per week onsite, subject to ongoing review
• Anticipated start mid July 2026
• 9-month contract duration
• Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
• Contractors must have access to phone, laptop/PC and internet facilities
