Your role and responsibilities

  • You will provide administrative and system support to support the Residential Children's Homes team. This will include liaising with Service Manager, Business Support Manager and HR teams.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all necessary pre-recruitment activity, such as establishment control processes have been completed before recruitment requests are progressed to a recruitment advisor to progress. You will need to be comfortable working with data and different IT systems and be able to explain complex information in a clear manner.
  • You will also be responsible for managing incoming contacts, providing responses where possible, signposting to information or passing to a specialist for reply.
  • You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be confident editing existing information within existing guidelines.
  • This is a busy and varied role and as the first point of contact for recruitment you will need to be able coordinate and manage multiple vacancies & projects simultaneously.

You will need:

  • Good communication and IT skills
  • the ability to work confidently under your own initiative and work independently to resolve issues
  • To show good accuracy and a keen eye for detail
  • To have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work to achieve deadlines
  • Good systems knowledge, specifically Oracle.
