We have one part-time vacancy for a Business Support Assistant supporting our Education Psychology/Autism in Schools Teams. The core focus of this role is to provide high-quality business support, enabling professionals to prioritise direct work with children and families, and to ensure timely communication with service users and partner agencies.
Successful applicants will work as part of a team supporting children and families across the county through delivery of high-quality business support services. Duties will include:
Whilst the work base for this role has been specified, our evolving ways of working means you may be required to work from other locations. We work flexibly to support the people, services and organisations we work with, and this will be discussed during the recruitment process. There will be a requirement to assist with business support delivery during core business hours (Monday to Friday).
This position will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Working Pattern:
This is a part-time role working:
Mondays
Tuesdays
Wednesday mornings
Flexible working arrangements may be discussed in line with service needs.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to liaise effectively with staff, service users and partner agencies
A professional approach, with discretion and diplomacy

Services: Care for the elderly, children’s safeguarding, libraries, road maintenance, fire and rescue service, recycling, parks, street cleaning, countryside management, social housing, town planning, tourism support and trading standards.
