Job Description Summary:

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Support & CPS Communications Specialist to serve hybrid role that combines local site communications, local community affairs, and business support responsibilities with global communications materials preparations, content development, leadership communications, and enterprise-wide communication initiatives.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted communications partner to local and global leaders, helping to connect employees, align messaging, strengthen engagement, and support key business priorities.

The role requires a highly organized and proactive professional with strong communication, stakeholder management, and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities

Local Business Support:

  • Plan and execute the communications strategy for the Drogheda site, ensuring alignment with CPS, TI&SC, and enterprise priorities while serving as the primary communications advisor to local leadership.
  • Develop and deliver communication plans and content that support site priorities, leadership visibility, employee engagement, organizational updates, and change initiatives.
  • Coordinate site events, leadership meetings, town halls, employee engagement activities, community programmes, and visits from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage Drogheda Public & Community Affairs (PACS) activities, including governance, budgeting, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and community impact initiatives.
  • Serve as a key business support partner to the Drogheda leadership team, providing administrative and operational support including creating purchase orders, vendor onboarding, invoice processing, expense coordination, SAP-related activities, and support for leadership priorities and site operations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional site activities by partnering with Facilities, Finance, IT, Security, Reception, People & Culture, and other support teams to ensure the effective delivery of site operations and employee experience initiatives.

Global Communications

  • Support execution and continuous improvement of the CPS communications strategy through activity coordination, content development, publication, and alignment with TI&SC and Coca-Cola Company.
  • Create and manage integrated communications across CPS channels, including leadership updates, project messaging, organizational announcements, Viva Engage, and CPS Connect.
  • Co-create targeted campaigns aligned with CPS priorities in partnership with leadership, People & Culture, plants, and key stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver communications for Global Town Halls, CPS Communication Network meetings, and other key forums.
  • Develop brand-aligned presentations and video content, including scripting, production coordination, and vendor management.
  • Work with CPS leaders and plants to ensure consistent execution, information sharing, and local-language support.
  • Identify and apply new technologies, media, and communication best practices to strengthen engagement and effectiveness.

Skills and Experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, administration, business support, or a related role with responsibility for managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Ability to develop and execute communication plans, create engaging content, and tailor messaging for different audiences and communication channels.
  • Experience supporting leaders through communication planning, event coordination, administrative processes, and operational activities.
  • Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience coordinating events, meetings or community programmes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Word, Excel, and Forms.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing, or other content creation tools is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, supply chain, or operational environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with budget administration, purchase orders, vendor management, expense processing, and business support activities is desirable.
