What’s the role
The Business Support role provides high‑quality operational, administrative, and coordination support to the Shell and Exxon Gas and Liquids (SEGAL) and Southern North Sea (SNS) General Managers and the wider leadership teams. The position requires strong organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to work proactively across multiple priorities and stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
Executive & General Management Support
Provide day‑to‑day business and support to the SEGAL and SNS General Managers
Manage calendars, meeting coordination, agendas, and follow‑up actions
Prepare briefings, presentations, and routine correspondence
Support ad‑hoc requests and priority initiatives as required
Business Operations & Coordination
Coordinate team activities
Support onboarding activities for new team members
Stakeholder & Team Support
Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders across SEGAL and SNS
Support communication flow between General Managers, leadership teams, and staff

What you bring
Essential
Proven experience in a business support, coordination, or executive support role
Strong organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
Proficiency in standard business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office / M365)
Desirable
Experience supporting senior leaders or General Managers
Exposure to governance, reporting, or financial tracking activities
Experience working in a matrix or multi‑team environment
Familiarity with continuous improvement or process optimisation practices
