The role
As a business supervisor you will provide administration and supervisory support to the Mission Enterprise activities of The Salvation Army (TSA) in Bundamba, Ipswich
In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force behind effective administration, team development, and the achievement of local financial and missional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision of the managers of the Salvos Container Recycling Centre and Watch Them Grow Nursery, ensuring all business processes are adhered to and completed in a timely manner.
Develop the managers/employees/volunteers capability through mentoring and coaching and empowering them to achieve local, financial and missional goals
Provision of administrative support for the Bundamba Corps including, reception, filing, minute taking, rosters, processing mail, general correspondence, etc
Design and create promotional material for Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and newsletters. Ensure all communication is consistent and accurate.
Manage venue requirements including; enquiries, bookings, contracts, maintenance, approvals. Manage venue operational needs; room preparation, hospitality and catering as well as equipment set up.
Manage all data for employees and volunteers including, integrity checks & induction - blue cards, child safety, code of conduct.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in office management, line management and financial management.
Proven experience in a senior administrative role
Tertiary qualifications in business management or equivalency.
An understanding of working within the not-for-profit sector would be highly regarded.
Strong people management skills; experience of managing volunteers would be highly regarded.
Mandatory Requirements:
A national police record check is required
Current drivers licence

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
