This job is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives and/or processes aligned to priorities within a functional area and/or business. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and/or refining strategic initiatives and processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners.
The Strategic Initiatives, AI Efficiency & Resource Optimization Lead is responsible for driving strategic execution across Consumer Client Servicing, with an expanded mandate to lead AI Horizontal Efficiency initiatives, strengthen data governance, and orchestrate multi‑threaded tactical deployments across the organization. This position operates as a strategic integrator — ensuring AI capabilities, operational priorities, and resource optimization efforts move cohesively, efficiently, and with strong executive visibility.
The leader in this role will bring structure, discipline, and foresight to high‑stakes initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor and execution engine for senior leadership.
Responsibilities:

LOB Specific Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiative Leadership
Define, develop, and execute enterprise‑level initiatives that advance Client Servicing priorities, with a focus on AI‑enabled efficiency, operational performance, and measurable business outcomes.
Translate ambiguous problems into structured strategies, implementation plans, KPIs, and stakeholder workstreams.
AI Horizontal Efficiency Ownership
Lead the identification, coordination, and delivery of AI‑driven efficiencies across Client Services, ensuring initiatives are aligned, resourced, and governed effectively.
Act as the program manager for multiple concurrent AI use cases, ensuring technical, operational, compliance, and business teams are fully integrated.
Tactical Program & Project Management
Oversee multiple tactical deployments occurring simultaneously (AI, process optimization, workforce planning, etc.), ensuring prioritized sequencing, dependency management, and consistent execution discipline.
Maintain initiative roadmaps, operating rhythms, and escalation pathways to reduce execution risk and accelerate delivery.
Data Governance & Controls
Establish and enforce governance standards specific to AI‑related data usage within Client Services.
Ensure controls, data quality, model inputs/outputs, reporting mechanisms, and risk management practices meet enterprise expectations.
Performance, Risk & Milestone Governance
Maintain initiative scorecards, assess risks, track milestones, and drive corrective actions to protect delivery timelines and business outcomes.
Create transparent, consistent reporting for senior leaders to make informed decisions quickly.
Cross‑Functional Alignment & Influence
Align strategies and execution plans across operations, data science, technology, risk, analytics, workforce management, and executive leadership.
Guide leaders through complex choices by distilling insights into concise, actionable recommendations.
Executive‑Level Storytelling & Communication
Deliver high‑impact presentations that articulate AI value realization, strategic progress, risks, and investment requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written and presentation, with prove ability to synthesize complex information into concise, compelling narratives for executive audiences
3+ years leading enterprise‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives spanning operations, technology, data, and governance, with direct accountability for delivery and outcomes.
5+ years of formal program/project management experience, including Agile and hybrid delivery models, executive reporting, and tools such as MS Project, CAST, PPRT, or equivalent enterprise frameworks
Proven experience orchestrating multiple use cases simultaneously across business units, acting as a horizontal integrator to align priorities, sequencing, and dependencies. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities, including the capacity to build trust, align cross-functional teams and drive consensus across diverse partners
Demonstrated success driving AI‑based efficiency outcomes, including productivity gains, workforce optimization, cost reduction, and cycle‑time improvement.
Exceptional executive stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI topics into clear, decision‑ready insights for senior leadership.
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of direct experience executing AI‑enabled or advanced analytics initiatives , with demonstrated accountability for delivery, adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
Strong expertise in AI program management , covering use‑case intake, prioritization, execution planning, risk management, and value realization tracking.
Curiosity: To clearly understand the “why” of what is being delivered, how it is constructed, and who the customer is. A clear underlying understanding of business motivation as well as up and downstream implications must be developed.
Creativity: The ability to think through ideas, entertain various perspectives and come up with novel ways to tackle problems is highly valued.
Perseverance: This role addresses a collection of interrelated projects and work streams in an ever-evolving pursuit and an iterative process of moving closer to the goals on each attempt. Does not frustrate easily and is not afraid of failure.
