This job is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives and/or processes aligned to priorities within a functional area and/or business. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and/or refining strategic initiatives and processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners.

The Business Strategy & Initiatives Manager will be responsible for driving design and management for strategic initiatives that impact the Financial Center and ATM network. This role will manage the relationship for initiatives, many of which are owned or managed outside of FCAMS. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong process analysis skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. This role requires strong communications skills and partnership with business partners, subject matter experts and stakeholders to meet deadlines and deliver high quality project results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple projects without direct management.

This role requires the ability to develop strong partnerships and coordination with business partners in Enterprise Transaction Services, Client Protection and other lines of business including, Technology and Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners

  • Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business

  • Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives

  • Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes

  • Develops strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives

  • Leads project management routines with work team including line of business, support, and technology partners to ensure effective and timely execution

  • Develops initiative materials, including leadership presentations, process and procedure documents, detailed timelines and implementation plans, readiness materials and technology requirements

  • Leverages data analysis to derive relevant findings and utilize to develop and support solutions and process improvements

  • Coordinates stakeholder, leadership, and governance reviews

  • Drives initiative implementation and communications working with partners and front-line leaders

  • Develops and manage project plans, agenda planning and program timelines to ensure deadlines are met and projects remain on track

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience building strategic relationships with key business partners such as Technology and Enterprise Transaction Services to ensure financial center business initiatives are met

  • Strong business, operational, and procedural knowledge of a financial center

  • Leadership experience

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints

  • Ability to adjust rapidly to changing demands and priorities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously & work independently

  • Organized and professional with an ability to work with business partners to meet deadlines
