About the Role

You’ll sit on CoLab’s Strategy team and work on some of the most important and least-defined questions across the business. One week you might research an emerging market and build the case for how we should approach it. The next, you could dig into customer data, help shape an executive presentation, or jump into a cross-functional project.

You won’t always get a detailed playbook. You’ll be expected to ask good questions, find the right information, make sense of it, and keep things moving.

This role is ideal for someone who is intensely curious, ambitious, and eager to understand how a high-growth B2B SaaS company operates.

You’re curious enough to go several layers deeper than the initial question. You can take a messy collection of customer conversations, market data, and internal context and turn it into something useful. And when the answer isn’t obvious, you don’t wait around for perfect instructions.

You communicate clearly, care about the quality of your work, and are comfortable collaborating with people across different functions and levels of seniority.

If you want predictable projects with tightly defined boundaries, this probably isn’t the role for you. If being thrown into something unfamiliar and figuring it out sounds energizing, you’ll likely thrive here.

Job Responsibilities

• Research industry trends, market segments, competitors, and customer needs to uncover business opportunities.
• Support strategy development with rigorous research, data, insights, and hands-on execution.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on market and competitive research.
• Take ambiguous business questions, structure the problem, gather evidence, and recommend practical next steps.
• Build presentations, briefing documents, analyses, and other materials that help teams make better decisions.
• Own high-impact, cross-functional projects as new priorities and opportunities emerge.
• Turn what you learn into action rather than stopping at the analysis.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience; exceptional new graduates with strong internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate what matters clearly.
• Comfortable taking ownership with limited direction while knowing when to ask for input or support.
• Genuine enthusiasm for learning how businesses, markets, customers, and products work.
• Exposure to B2B SaaS, consulting, startups, or Marketing, Sales, Product, or Customer Success teams is a plus.
