TikTok Local Services (TikTok GO) is a one-stop commerce solution that connects global users with local services through the creative use of TikTok POI (Points of Interest), short videos, LIVE, and search. It delivers valuable real-life experiences and inspires users to explore the world around them.
With the mission of "Discover great places, Empower local businesses" Local Services aims to be the most trusted platform to discover great places and connect local businesses. It helps communities engage with restaurants, hotels, and attractions, equips businesses with new ways to connect with customers and drive transactions, and combines innovative marketing and operational tools to support sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and drive PR and communications strategies aligned with TikTok Local Service’s business stage and market characteristics, supporting external communications for key business milestones, priority markets, and core topics.
2. Develop a deep understanding of the local services industry, including food and beverage, travel and hospitality, and general lifestyle services. Based on company strategy and industry trends, plan and produce high-quality communications content, including but not limited to in-depth articles, thought leadership pieces, media briefing materials, and speeches.
3. Collaborate with Global PR and GR teams to build and maintain high-quality media and government relationships. Be able to identify the different focuses of various media outlets, drive more in-depth and influential coverage, and advance the implementation of projects with strong social value orientation.
4. Be responsible for public opinion monitoring and crisis communications response, exercising sound communications judgment and coordination to help the business maintain consistent, steady, and credible external messaging in complex environments.
