About the Role

As Etihad continues to transform its commercial capabilities through Journey 2030, we’re looking for an experienced Revenue Management professional to help shape the next generation of inventory optimisation and commercial decision-making.

Joining our Solutions & Innovation team, you’ll sit at the intersection of Revenue Management, Technology and Data, leading initiatives that improve how inventory is forecast, optimised and managed across our global network.

This isn’t a traditional Revenue Management role. You’ll combine commercial expertise with technology, advanced analytics and product thinking to design smarter solutions, automate complex processes and deliver measurable commercial value. Working alongside Digital, Technology and Commercial stakeholders, you’ll help define how our Revenue Management systems evolve to support one of the world’s fastest-growing airlines.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the development and delivery of innovative Revenue Management solutions focused on inventory optimisation and availability management.
• Identify opportunities to improve commercial systems, business processes and decision frameworks through automation, advanced analytics and emerging technologies.
• Design and deliver proof-of-concept initiatives before scaling successful solutions into production.
• Act as the business owner for inventory-related Revenue Management systems, ensuring they continue to evolve in line with commercial priorities.
• Partner with Revenue Management, Commercial, Digital and Technology teams to define business requirements and influence future product roadmaps.
• Oversee system enhancements, upgrades, testing and production releases while ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Monitor inventory optimisation performance, user behaviour and forecasting outcomes, providing recommendations that improve commercial performance.
• Manage calibration of forecasting models, optimisation parameters and inventory controls to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Ensure high standards of system data quality, governance and usability across Revenue Management platforms.
• Translate complex analytical outputs into practical commercial recommendations for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who combines strong airline Revenue Management expertise with a genuine passion for improving systems, solving business problems and delivering innovation.

You’ll be comfortable working across commercial and technical teams, influencing stakeholders and turning complex business requirements into scalable solutions.

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or a related discipline (MBA advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience within the airline industry.
• Hands-on experience with inventory optimization and availability management.
• Experience using Revenue Management platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre or PROS.
• Strong understanding of demand forecasting, optimization and commercial airline operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects while balancing operational priorities.

Desirable

• Experience with Python, R, Tableau, Databricks or similar analytical tools.
• Exposure to cloud technologies including Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience delivering automation, analytics or AI-enabled commercial solutions.
• Product ownership or systems implementation experience within an airline environment.
