Job Description

Become a key contributor to our ERP transformation and Parts Distribution Center enablement by joining as a Business Solutions Architect focused on SAP IBP planning solutions.

This role supports the company’s strategic initiatives by designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP IBP Demand, Supply & Response, and Inventory Optimization solutions tailored for high-volume, exception-driven parts planning. You will bridge business needs and SAP capabilities to deliver scalable, efficient planning processes aligned with enterprise priorities.

  • PAY RANGE: $80.00

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP IBP solution architecture and implementation efforts.
  • Own technical design for Demand Planning, Supply & Response Planning, and Inventory Optimization modules.
  • Design and support integration solutions with SAP CPI-DS, SDI, and RTI.
  • Configure IBP modules to handle high-volume transactions including purchase orders and order lines.
  • Develop exception-driven planning workflows to manage shortages, excess inventory, and supply constraints.
  • Align SAP IBP solutions with enterprise IT strategy and SAP roadmap.
  • Conduct business requirements workshops and discovery sessions.
  • Analyze gaps between business expectations and SAP IBP capabilities.
  • Recommend configuration solutions, enhancements, and alternative approaches.
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and throughput for large transaction volumes.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Parts Operations, and IT teams to translate business challenges into SAP IBP solutions.
  • Manage a prioritized roadmap supporting PDC enablement, ERP rollout phases, and post-go-live enhancements.
  • Define and optimize planning areas, key figures, and master data.
  • Support data readiness including cleansing, transformation, and harmonization.
  • Ensure integration and seamless planning processes across SAP IBP, SAP ECC, and external systems.
  • Support PDC blueprinting, rollout strategies, and phased implementation activities.
  • Participate in all project lifecycle phases including design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare.
  • Support user acceptance testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure governance adherence and document solution architecture and project milestones.
  • Support long-term SAP IBP maturity and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of SAP IBP implementation and solution architecture experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning / Response & Supply, and Inventory Optimization.
  • Experience with SAP CPI-DS, SDI, RTI, and SAP ERP integrations (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
  • Strong experience in high-volume, exception-based planning environments.
  • Proven expertise in business requirements analysis and solution design.
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle and enterprise architecture design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aftermarket, service parts, or distribution-focused business environments.
  • Experience supporting multi-ERP consolidation or transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to data lake and advanced analytics platforms.
  • Experience supporting large-scale transaction environments involving purchase orders, order lines, and exception management.
  • Ability to assess SAP IBP limitations and recommend alternative business or technical solutions.
