
Business Skills Coordinator | 10687 | Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2028/ Secondment Opportunity | 37 hours per week | £ to £ per annum (Scale H) | Cromer / Hybrid working
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Business Skills Coordinator to lead the delivery of a business skills project across North Norfolk.
The Role
This role sits within the Employment & Skills Team at Norfolk County Council and is delivered in partnership with North Norfolk District Council. You will work directly with local businesses to understand workforce needs, identify skills gaps and support the development of practical solutions that enable growth.
As the central point of contact for employers, you will build strong relationships with SMEs, coordinate skills analysis, and bring together partners including training providers, schools and stakeholders to strengthen workforce development across the district.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting sustainable economic growth and improving access to skills and training.

Our Strategy, Growth and Investment Service delivers programmes that support businesses, improve skills and create opportunities for residents across Norfolk.
This project focuses on supporting businesses in North Norfolk and wider Norfolk to better understand and respond to current and future workforce needs, helping to build a stronger, more resilient local economy.
Additional Information
This role will be based at North Norfolk District Council offices in Cromer, working alongside the Economic Development team, as well as the wider Employment & Skills service at Norfolk County Council.
You will need a flexible approach, including travel and occasional evening work.
This is a fixed-term role funded until 31 March 2028.
