We are looking for a Business Services Team Leader to join our Housing Repairs and Maintenance Team

About the role
Reporting to the Business Services Manager you will provide day to day operational leadership to the Repairs Service Officers and Business Services Assistant.
You will be responsible for the seamless operation of repairs planning and business support functions within housing repairs and maintenance.
You will co-ordinate daily operations, supporting repairs planning, contractor management and administrative tasks to meet service levels, maximise staff productivity, and deliver consistent, positive customer experiences.

About you
We are seeking a dedicated, organised and customer focused individual to join our Housing Repairs and Maintenance team.
You will have a good standard of education with GCSE's (or equivalent) in English and Maths and demonstrate experience in a similar role in either a business services or housing team. A Customer service qualification would be an advantage.
You will be motivated to work collaboratively across our districts to support the development and delivery of brilliant services to our customers, embedding robust policies and procedures.
Experience of leading a team is desirable as you will supervise, coach and develop team members, setting clear operational objectives and standards.
IT literate with good systems experience, you will maintain the job management system and related data to enable real-time decision making and accurate management information.
Passionate about excellent customer service, you will demonstrate empathy and diplomacy as the first point of contact for issues related to Repairs and Maintenance.
