This role is responsible for the accountability and ownership of the Andover site soft services. It plays a critical part in delivering a great first impression of the company. The BSM will oversee all employee and visitor facing areas and support the corporate culture through hospitality and operational excellence. In addition, the role will dedicate approximately 30–40% of its time supporting the Head of Facilities with capital projects, workplace improvements, and site regulatory compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the Business Services team (2 direct, 4 indirect), driving operational excellence and outstanding service delivery.
  • Partner with Executive and senior stakeholders as a key member of the Facilities Leadership Team to shape workplace strategy and site operations.
  • Drive workplace transformation projects, including office moves, space planning, and workspace optimisation.
  • Own CAPEX and OPEX budgets, deliver robust forecasting, cost control, and investment proposals.
  • Develop and present business cases for strategic workplace initiatives and capital investments.
  • Oversee facilities operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of services and timely resolution of requests.
  • Manage supplier spend and approvals through SAP, ensuring governance, compliance, and value for money.
  • Lead business communications related to workplace services, projects, and operational changes.
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver high-impact facilities and workplace improvement initiatives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven people leader with experience building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Track record of delivering complex facilities and workplace projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience within a fast-paced international FMCG environment is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively across all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong understanding of workplace and office operations, facilities management, and service delivery.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, manage competing demands, and consistently meet challenging deadlines.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong administrative and planning capabilities.
