Job Description

Job Summary

The role will be supporting our global Procurement team in analyzing gaps in data, system integration, and operational process; and in documenting and improving data governance framework.

  • Establish, maintain, and enforce data governance standards, policies, and controls across the S2P platform and key procurement data domains (supplier/vendor master, catalog, commodity/category codes, contract, spend, and transactional data).
  • Act as data steward for procurement data — define and document data definitions, ownership, business rules, and lineage; and maintain a procurement data dictionary / business glossary.
  • Design, implement, and monitor data quality controls (completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness); identify data quality issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive remediation with the relevant teams.
  • Support master data management (MDM) processes — including validation rules, standardization, de-duplication, and change control — to ensure a single, trusted source of procurement master data.
  • Embed data privacy, security classification, retention, and regulatory/compliance requirements (e.g. access controls, PII handling) into data capture and maintenance processes.
  • Maintain metadata and data lineage documentation from source systems through Ivalua to downstream reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Partner with IT, Data & Analytics, and Risk/Compliance teams on data governance frameworks, stewardship forums, and RACI; and help promote a culture of data ownership and accountability.
