You’ll join a close-knit team of seven full-time professionals, recognized as the cornerstone of risk management within WM Japan. BRO is dedicated to fostering a robust “risk culture,” partnering across the business to instill best practices and a proactive mindset.
This position is open due to a team member’s departure, offering you the chance to make an immediate impact and bring fresh perspectives to the group.
What You Bring
• Relevant Experience:
Either
o Experience in wealth management related roles, spanning anywhere from front-to-back; or
o experience in risk management, compliance, or audit—for WM or other areas
• Language Skills:
o Native-level Japanese (CA / client interaction, client facing docs and local procedures are in Japanese)
o Business-level English (global policy and other guidance documents are written in English, and you will participate in regional/global calls)
• Active Use of AI:
You are comfortable leveraging artificial intelligence tools and digital solutions to enhance risk management processes, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. Your openness to adopting new technologies will help drive innovation within BRO Japan, and strengthen the risk culture in WM Japan.
• Communication & Influence:
Ability to engage effectively with the Front Office, address issues constructively, and help elevate the risk culture across the organization
