The Business Resiliency and Incident Program Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, testing, and managing the Company's resiliency program. This includes centralized incident management, business continuity planning and documentation, disaster recovery strategy and preparedness, and oversight of emergency management plans that align with regulatory requirements and program guidelines. The Program Manager is also responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting on business resiliency risks associated with compliance with the Bank's regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluates business resiliency risks and collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Enhances policies and procedures to address evolving business needs and emerging risks.
  • Provides periodic training to business, service, and technology teams regarding procedures, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Establishes resiliency controls, including business continuity and recovery plans, incident management processes, emergency management plans, and team contact structures, ensuring alignment with enterprise frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Provides leadership and oversight for the Company's Business Resiliency Program and related functions.
  • Collaborates with all levels of management across the enterprise and with the Bank's service providers.
  • Conducts periodic tabletop exercises for various business functions and levels of management.
  • Partners with third parties and includes them in business continuity exercises, as appropriate.
  • Develops reporting and key metrics for Senior Management and the Board.
  • Establishes processes for capturing, tracking, and reporting incidents.
  • Leads triage and incident management activities related to material incidents, documenting root causes, incident response activities, and lessons learned.
  • Manages updates and ongoing maintenance of the Bank's business resiliency program and supporting tools, including automated systems and databases.
  • Serves as the business owner of the Bank's business resiliency and incident management systems.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization, including Executive Management, Senior Leadership, Legal, Compliance, Information Technology, and other business partners.
  • Leverages cross-functional teams at the business unit, department, and enterprise levels to develop effective solutions and promote a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.
  • Tracks, reports, and presents project status updates to Senior Management and other stakeholders, as needed.


MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages a team of analysts responsible for supporting the Business Resiliency Program.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops a team focused on operational risk management, fostering strong relationships with business units, stakeholders, and vendors to maximize effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Provides direction and clarity in establishing individual goals, managing performance, supporting career development, and recognizing and rewarding strong performance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Pragmatic, results-oriented leader with the ability to oversee crisis management, tabletop exercises, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery testing activities.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work extended hours or provide after-hours support during crisis events, as needed.
  • Proven experience assessing risk and developing risk-based crisis response and resiliency plans.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in risk management systems, software, and related tools.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skilled in presenting information effectively and responding to questions from managers, clients, customers, regulators, and the public.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including the ability to apply mathematical and statistical concepts such as probability, percentages, ratios, proportions, and statistical inference to business situations.
  • Ability to define complex problems, gather and analyze data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions presented in written, mathematical, or diagrammatic form and effectively manage multiple abstract and concrete variables.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in risk management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry required
  • Experience managing third-party risk relationships and vendor management programs required
  • Knowledge of risk-based scoring for vendor relationships required
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems and tools preferred
  • Prior leadership or people management experience preferred

  • Relevant Certifications preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $98,100.00 to $161,900.00 per year (in CO) and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Additionally, this role is eligible to receive annual discretionary cash and stock bonuses. Benefits available for this position include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability benefits and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, employee assistance program, 401(k), Paid Time Off (new hires accrue at .069 per hours worked which equates to approximately 18 days per year inclusive of paid sick time) and up to 11 paid Federal holidays.
