Nasdaq eVestment is looking for a passionate Business & Research Analyst to join our Data Extraction team. This role will be focusing on solutions that aim to bring transparency into the institutional investment industry. We are seeking a candidate who has a strong interest in investment data, institutional investment markets, and has strong skills for data entry, data research, qualitative data summarization, and more. Candidates must demonstrate outstanding English language proficiency, both written and verbal, with the ability to comprehend and communicate complex financial concepts clearly and professionally. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, outstanding English language skills, and a background in institutional investment. • As a Business & Research Analyst for the Data Extraction team , you will be responsible for working with both qualitative (investment documents) and quantitative data as it relates to the institutional investment industry.
• Primary solutions of focus will be Nasdaq eVestment Market Lens and Nasdaq eVestment Peer Benchmarking.
• You will work on both shared responsibilities and group projects as well as individual initaitves.
• The role requires efficiently reading and interpreting complex investment documents in English, extracting the most relevant information, providing concise, accurate summaries and comprehensive data tagging of each document to ensure all key data points are captured.
• You will take part in data association projects, whereby taking externally sourced data and associating it with existing records in our database.
• You will conduct internet research to locate and retrieve key data, and collaborate with global team members to ensure the highest standards of data quality.
• You will also take part in building out our Key Contact dataset which includes contact information for investor firms, consultants, and more. You must consistently meet strict daily deadlines, managing your workload efficiently and maintaining high standards of accuracy under time pressure.
• Your expected shift hours will be commencing between 12:00PM – 2:59PM IST.
