Job Description

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer for a client in Brussels with strong hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, with a mandatory focus on Playwright in TypeScript

Tasks

• Execute and document manual and automated test cases.
• Ensure API validation using tools such as Postman, Kreya, and SoapUI
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript required)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate closely within DevOps workflows.
• Perform non-functional testing using JMeter and Gatling
• Work within Agile teams following modern QA and DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• Practical experience with test management and bug-tracking tools Xray, TestRail, Zephyr, Jira.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing
• Mandatory expertise in Playwright with TypeScript
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated test integration.
• Hands-on experience with non-functional testing (JMeter, Gatling).
• Proficiency working in Unix/Linux environments
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, networking fundamentals, and container technologies such as Kubernetes
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (mandatory)
