RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understanding customer’s commercial and technical needs and opportunities (Research, Connect, Encourage, Questioning, Confirm, Provide). Manage the customer interface by developing contacts at multiple levels, scheduling meetings and technical visits.
  • Implement the strategic positioning of the Essential Nutrition products and services within the region. Promote and drive the sales of Essential Nutrition products and services. Feedback customer and market insights to the PL.
  • Actively contribute to reach defined price and volume sales targets by identifying customer needs and applying appropriate commercial and technical value-added tools. Research, manage and coordinate technical and sales initiatives to support the team strategy.
  • First follow up of qualified leads in Marketo and conversion into opportunities.
  • Studying and understanding the functional feed additives market and proposing prices that are in line with the market and with Evonik’s profit targets. Offer service levels according to the customer group and within the AN business rules. Provide accurate and reliable market information.
  • Ensure compliance with regards to all Evonik guidelines with particular focus on SO17, antitrust and customer-related compliance obligations.
  • Accurately budgeting, forecasting and updating all account activities to ensure products and resources are available in order to achieve sales targets updated as needed.
  • Developing and implementing plans for focus customers, including but not limited to the coordination of Technical Services as needed. Keeping all information databases up to date (e.g. IBP, MSD, Cupset).
  • Participate in and lead various project teams to support the advancement of the business line’s value selling initiative.
  • Manage collections through regular dashboard reviews, proactive customer outreach following escalated events from Customer Service and consistent documentation.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (Animal Nutrition or related fields is a plus), with 3–5 years of experience in Sales or Marketing
  • Strong ambition and drive to meet or exceed business expectations, with results‑oriented mindset and strict execution of business strategies
  • Customer‑focused and market‑oriented, with agile business sense and fast response capability
  • Strong communication skills, high initiative, self‑motivation, and willingness to learn new products, applications, and business models
  • Strong learning capability to understand customer applications and translate needs into product performance or new formulation requirements
  • Innovative thinking to identify new business opportunities
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
