Job Description

The Business Relationship Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining business banking relationships. The Business Relationship Officer identifies, pursues and implements deposit growth opportunities of a variety of complexity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Acquire new business members from an assigned region.
  • Lead all aspects of the sales process. Works with Department Sales Manager and Business Relationship Account Specialist to assist in solution development, proposal delivery, and implementation, as needed or as directed by management.
  • Financial and deposit analysis including the completion of complex banking solutions catered to the member’s needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that contribute to increasing business deposits, treasury management and commercial loans.
  • Manage new business member onboarding and ensures member satisfaction with the implementation process.
  • Active community member, participates in ICCU & Chamber sponsored events, networking groups and non-profit boards
  • Refer opportunities for growth in consumer products and services to branches in designated region.
  • Team Lead for industry conferences ensuring all aspects of conference sponsorship are met and lead lists generated from the conference are submitted to the Department Sales Manager
  • Ensure all annual reviews are completed thoroughly and recorded in Salesforce
  • Provide exceptional service to members through proactive call and visitation plans, responsiveness to member enquiries and develop solutions that support the aspirations of the member.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. One to three years business banking sales experience and/or branch experience preferred. Ability to work under pressure and organize tasks for optimal performance. Excellent communication, relationship building and sales skills.

Performance Standard

Achieves assigned sales goals. Must take pride in department, always meeting and exceeding member's expectations. Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on details, attendance, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union. Must be able to work autonomously and produce results without a high degree of oversight.

Physical Requirements

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).

The Salary Range for this position is between $74,400.87 to $111,601.30 USD
