  • Define and quantify impacts to inform strategies, mitigations and action plans to address gaps

  • Secure stakeholder direction, decisions and sponsorship for recommended strategies and solutions (including acceptance of potential organisational performance impacts) related to the transition.

  • manage execution of agreed solutions to ensure the business is ready to operate optimally at implementation (execution may be undertaken by other teams)

Business and program simplification:

  • Initial analysis and quantification of Simplification opportunity – to inform a prioritization decision (i.e. decision on whether further investment of effort is endorsed)

  • If prioritized for further analysis, collation of information from various impacted parties to define treatment options and prepare a recommendation (including teams accountable for execution) for endorsement (or otherwise)

  • If endorsed manage and track execution (by others) of simplification initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the link between delivery teams and business stakeholders to secure buy-in and manage expectations. Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and mitigate business readiness-related risks. Define and Monitor Readiness Criteria: Define metrics and criteria to track and monitor readiness prior to go live, plus monitor adoption and integration of change during transition against predefined criteria. Post-Implementation Support: Support release readiness, hyper-care and post-go-live stabilization.

Qualifications, key skills and experience required

  • Proven Delivery Experience: Proven experience as a business lead delivery lead; project management or business readiness roles.

  • Transformation Expertise: Demonstrated success delivering within transformation programs.

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence diverse groups and resolve conflicts.

  • Methodology Proficiency: Strong understanding of project management (e.g., PMP) and Change Management frameworks.

  • Tooling Proficiency: High level of competency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Competency in agile related tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Analytical Ability: Skill in process mapping, future-state design, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Time and Priority Management: Exceptional ability to self-manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for accuracy and precision.
