Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business / QA Analyst based in Brazil.
This is a senior hybrid role combining business analysis, quality assurance, and Agile product delivery within a distributed international team.
You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams, translating needs into clear and actionable requirements.
The role covers the full product lifecycle, from workflow discovery and user stories through MVP delivery, testing, UAT, and post-release support.
You will also help establish strong QA practices, design functional tests, manage defects, and identify opportunities for automation.
Your work will directly contribute to delivering reliable digital solutions while keeping business priorities, quality standards, and project timelines aligned.
The environment is collaborative, Scrum-based, remote-first, and highly international, with regular interaction across North American business hours.
This opportunity is well suited to an experienced professional who combines strong analytical thinking with excellent communication and quality-focused execution.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and improve operational workflows, identifying opportunities for new features and process enhancements.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
- Maintain traceability between business objectives, requirements, MVP definitions, and delivered functionality while keeping the team focused on project timelines.
- Translate expected application behavior and business processes into comprehensive functional test cases and execute manual testing.
- Establish and maintain QA practices, collaborating with QA Engineers on regression and performance testing and identifying opportunities for automation using tools such as Playwright.
- Log, prioritize, track, and manage defects through resolution, working closely with developers and Product Owners to address issues efficiently.
- Identify project risks, support mitigation planning, and monitor risks and issue-resolution progress throughout delivery.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements and expected user outcomes.
- Support beta testing by reproducing issues, coordinating with development teams, and monitoring product quality through release cycles.
- Contribute to change management activities, including training content creation, user communication, and product adoption support.
- Provide post-release and hypercare support, helping users troubleshoot issues and ensuring a smooth transition into new or updated solutions.
- Assess the potential business value of proposed enhancements and help prioritize initiatives within project constraints.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience spanning Business Analysis and Quality Assurance, ideally within Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, business analysis practices, QA methodologies, functional testing, and defect management.
- Hands-on familiarity with testing tools and test automation concepts; experience with Playwright is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and actionable test scenarios.
- Proven experience managing requirements and deliverables within strict project timelines and MVP constraints.
- Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with accounting and financial concepts.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the ability to align technical teams, business stakeholders, and product leadership.
- Experience with Jira and Agile delivery practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed, and cross-functional environment.
- Flexibility to collaborate with teams operating across Central and Eastern Time zones, including regular overlap with North American business hours.
- Fluent English is required, as interviews, documentation, meetings, and daily communication are conducted in English.
- Experience supporting professional services organizations is a plus, particularly within sports, media, or entertainment.
Benefits:
- Fully remote position open across Latin America, including Brazil.
- Full-time, permanent employment opportunity.
- Remote-first collaboration with international, distributed teams.
- Opportunity to work on high-value digital products for a global sports and entertainment environment.
- Exposure to the full product lifecycle, combining business analysis, Agile delivery, quality assurance, UAT, and change management.
- Opportunity to work with modern QA practices and contribute to test automation initiatives.
- Collaborative, cross-functional environment with direct interaction across business, product, QA, and engineering teams.
- International experience and regular collaboration with North American stakeholders.
- Professional growth through exposure to complex business processes, digital products, and Agile delivery practices.
