As a Business & Program Support Officer you will provide efficient, high level business program and administrative support to the Coordinator Youth Engagement & Pathway and broader Youth Engagement & Pathway Unit.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide efficient, high level business, program and administrative support to the Coordinator Youth Engagement & Pathway and broader Youth Engagement & Pathway Unit.
• Provide administration support to Team Leaders and Project officers of the unit as required.
• Act as point of contact for unit general inquiries, liaise with external and internal stakeholders, respond to customer requests and administer the unit’s customer services processes in a professional, friendly, and effective manner.
• Assist with school holiday program planning across the team.
• To operate and oversee the booking systems for the Youth Centres including Youth Central, Sunbury Young Centre, Roxburgh Park Youth Centre and Craigieburn Youth Centre; and run regular booking reports.
• Update social media and communication channels for the Unit.

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:

• Demonstrated ability in using MS Office computer products (particularly - Word and Excel), and the ability to access and interpret databases
• Office organisation skills, including the capacity to develop and maintain purchasing processes, and other procedures and systems.
• Ability to manage time and organise work activities to achieve Youth Engagement and Pathways objectives, under advice from the Coordinator Youth Engagement & Pathways
• Ability to apply standard processes and procedures and transfer knowledge to others.
• Ability to recognise priority tasks and completion within given time constraints is required.
• Ability to identify customer needs and expectations, decide the appropriate action and respond accordingly.
