Job Description

Ring and Blink (RBKS) Accessories is the accessories and peripherals division for Amazon's smart home products, managing a $160M+ annual portfolio across 60+ products, 10+ contract manufacturers, and multiple product categories including alarm sensors, smart lighting, solar panels, battery packs, chimes, and mounting solutions.
We are looking for a Business Program Manager (BPM) to join the RBKS Accessories Asia Ops team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end cost management and commercial relationship with assigned contract manufacturers (CMs), driving cost optimization, NRE/tooling negotiations, and financial governance across the product lifecycle from NPI through EOL. You will work cross-functionally with Operations Program Managers (OPMs), Global Commodity Management (GCM), Supplier Quality Management (SQM), Design-to-Cost (DTC), and Product teams to deliver products that meet financial guardrails and cost targets.

Key job responsibilities
Cost Management & Negotiation
• Own the BOM cost structure and cost tracker for assigned programs, ensuring accuracy, version control, and side-by-side comparison across quotation revisions
• Lead NRE, tooling, and E&F (Equipment & Fixture) cost negotiations with CMs, challenging quotations against industry benchmarks and baseline project references
• Conduct detailed cost analysis on C Part tooling (injection molds), SMT fixtures, and FATP fixtures — validating mold quantities, cavity counts, copy mold pricing, design change surcharges, and "modify from existing" reuse discounts
• Manage cost change requests (ECN-driven) throughout the product lifecycle, quantifying unit price impact and tooling modification costs
Commercial & Supplier Management
• Serve as the primary commercial interface with assigned CMs , managing pricing agreements, contract terms, and business reviews
• Manage RFQ (Request for Quotation) process for new programs, ensuring competitive pricing through multi-source benchmarking
Financial Governance
• Ensure 100% of products meet DTC (Design-to-Cost) financial guardrails and targets, with no post-design-freeze cost surprises
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with OPMs on NPI readiness, providing cost inputs for xVT (build validation) milestones and production ramp decisions
• Collaborate with GCM on joint negotiations for shared components (adapters, batteries, ME parts) to maximize volume leverage
