Job Description

Your area of work:

Group Accounting is responsible for Deutsche Börse Group’s financial reporting under IFRS and HGB and serves as the central competence center for accounting-related matters across the Group. The section defines accounting policies and standards, supports business initiatives with accounting expertise, and ensures high-quality and compliant external financial reporting. In addition, Group Accounting plays a key role in M&A transactions, capital management activities, and major finance transformation initiatives, including SAP migration, integration, and implementation projects across the Group.

As a Business Process Specialist Finance Transformation / Reporting & Analytics, you will drive the design, harmonization, and implementation of finance processes and SAP solutions within our transformation. You will work closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to shape future-ready end-to-end processes, support SAP migration and integration activities, and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic transformation initiatives.

In Group Reporting & Analytics, you will help shape the future reporting and data landscape of the Finance function. You will connect business requirements from Group Reporting and External Reporting with modern SAP and data platforms such as GRDC, BDC, Data Mesh, BW and SAC.

Your responsibilities:

  • Analyze, structure and translate reporting requirements into robust process and system solutions
  • Support SAP transformation, migration and rollout activities with a focus on Group Reporting and Analytics
  • Design data flows, controls and interfaces across Group Reporting, BW, SAC, BDC and Data Mesh approaches
  • Facilitate workshops with Finance, IT and other stakeholders to define target processes and business requirements
  • Ensure consistent reporting logic, data quality and traceability for internal and external reporting requirements

Your profile:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Sales, Controlling or a related business function
  • Experience in Group Reporting, Consolidation, Reporting Data Models or Finance Analytics
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, particularly A2R, including closing and external reporting processes
  • Knowledge of GRDC, SAP Group Reporting, BW, SAC, BDC or comparable reporting platforms is an advantage
  • Strong cross-functional mindset with the ability to connect processes and requirements across different business functions
  • Experience in SAP projects, ideally migrations, rollouts or transformation programmes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex topics and communicate them effectively to different audiences
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
