Job Description

We are seeking an AI Consultant to join the AI Programme team within client's Digital Excellence & Product Division. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of Singapore's AI transformation in education, building AI literacy and capabilities across the entire client ecosystem. You'll work closely with educators, policymakers, and government officers to design and deliver comprehensive AI enablement programmes through workshops, bootcamps, and community-building initiatives. As a key contributor to client's AI adoption journey, you'll bridge complex AI concepts with practical application whilst embedding responsible AI practices throughout the organization. You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders including public agencies and industry partners to build a robust AI capability ecosystem that positions client as a leader in educational AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

Capability Building & Enablement

  • Support the development of AI learning materials or artifacts such as curricula, playbooks, and guardrails, that help teams/officers self-help and embed responsible AI practices.
  • Assist in designing and delivering AI enablement programmes, involving initiatives such as clinics, bootcamps, train-the-trainer workshops, and champions networks.
  • Facilitate practical workshops and learning experiences for educators, policymakers, and client HQ officers.
  • Help maintain and update learning resources to keep content relevant as AI tools evolve, and risks emerge.

Adoption, Change & Communications

  • Support adoption efforts through coordinating communities of practice, open office hours, and engagement sessions.
  • Assist in crafting clear and compelling change narratives tailored to different staff functions and contexts.
  • Help identify and surface potential adoption blockers such as people readiness, data security, and procedures, and escalate with proposed solutions

Partnerships & Ecosystem

  • Support the team in partnerships and coordination with IHLs, public agencies, and industry players that contribute to capability-building outcomes.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of joint initiatives or any other collaborations.
  • Help onboard and coordinate trainers and subject-matter experts from the ecosystem to support programme delivery.
  • Assist in tracking capability OKRs/KPIs (e.g., number of officers trained, teams activated, satisfaction scores).
  • Support after-action reviews and impact assessments; help prepare updates and reports for leadership.
  • Maintain programme data and dashboards to surface trends and insights.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience in programme management, learning & development, capability building, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in and hands-on use of AI productivity tools (e.g. generative AI tools); able to contextualize AI concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills; comfortable engaging diverse groups across seniority levels.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders concurrently.
  • Proactive and collaborative team player who takes ownership and follows through on commitments.
  • A curious and adaptable mindset with enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and their applications in education
  • Resilience and flexibility to navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape and adjust programmes accordingly

Good-to-Have

  • Experience in education, workforce development, or public service domains.
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI principles and governance will be an advantage.
  • Exposure to change management frameworks (e.g. ADKAR, Prosci) or agile ways of working.
  • Ability to use data and simple analytics to evaluate programme effectiveness.
  • Certifications or practical experience in training, facilitation, or project management (e.g. Training of Trainers, Agile/Scrum, Prince2).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computing, Data/AI, Information Systems, Business,
  • Policy, Education, or Psychology with strong interest in technology). Polytechnic graduates with relevant experience in the field will be considered
