As the Business Process Owner (BPO) for Sales Order Management , you are responsible for TVH’s global order orchestration. You own the end-to-end lifecycle of a sales order—from the moment of capture through validation, orchestration, fulfillment readiness, monitoring & non-confirmity management. Your mission is to design a "frictionless" flow where automated logic handles the volume, allowing the organization to focus on high-value exceptions. You act as the strategic integrator between commercial intent, supply chain execution, and digital architecture, ensuring that business requirements, technology solutions, and organizational structures are seamlessly aligned.
Process Ownership: Responsible for L2 Sales Order Management process and underlying L3/L4/L5 processes, focusing on global standardization and high-velocity automation.
Strategic Vision: Ownership of the process maturity & roadmap, transitioning from high-touch environments to an intelligent, automated "management-by-exception" model.
Global Integration: Operating in a global, matrixed environment to ensure order flows are aligned with sales channels, inventory strategies, and financial compliance.
Process Excellence: Defining the future-state design standards (L2-L5 hierarchy) that enable digital self-service and rapid scalability. Performing detailed as-is process discovery and performance analysis, identifying & driving improvement opportunities towards the defined future state.
1. Strategic Process Ownership & Roadmap
Define and govern the strategic direction for Order Models and Workflows to ensure they support a diverse, global customer base and multiple routes-to-market.
Develop and maintain maturity roadmaps that drive the organization toward automated order processing & orchestration
Align the process domain with the overall enterprise strategy and transformation milestones.
Drive specific process improvement initiatives.
2. Future-State Process Design & Deployment
Lead the design and deployment of L3-L5 processes , focusing on Order Import & Defaulting, -Validation, -Scheduling, -Orchestration, -Modifications, -Cancellations & -Cockpit
Translate complex business requirements into scalable, future-proof designs & related process deliverables to support E2E transformation from definition till deployment.
Drive global harmonization by balancing enterprise-wide standards with necessary local regulatory or market-specific requirements and customer centricity with operational excellence.
3. Change Management & Impact Assessment
Conduct Process & Business Impact Analysis to identify how "to-be" designs affect the organization, roles, and skills.
Deploy change management strategies (utilizing frameworks like ADKAR) and necessary plans & materials
Partner with regional stakeholders, training and communication leads to ensure the global workforce is prepared & willing to adopt new order workflows.
4. Performance & Continuous Improvement
Establish and monitor a global dashboard of KPIs, including Order-to-Delivery Cycle Time , Manual Touch Points per Order , and Perfect Order Rate (OTIF)
Lead root cause analysis on process inefficiencies, non-conformities and "stuck" orders to refine orchestration logic and eliminate waste.
Identify & drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the "Order-to-Delivery" velocity.
5. Governance & Stakeholder Management
Represent the Sales Order Management process in Transformation and Global Governance Forums
Manage the RACI structures and decision-making bodies associated with the order domain.
Act as the primary business partner for IT, Data, Compliance, and Operational leaders to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business/Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Business Process Ownership , Process Architecture, or Value Stream Transformation in a global context.
Proven success in leading process design and execution in complex, multi-entity organizations.
Experience with OMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, IBM, KBRW, Blue Yonder, …) and recent trends.
Experience with modern, enterprise-grade digital architectures and their impact on global fulfillment.
Process Modeling: Deep expertise in process modeling methodologies (BPMN ) and the ability to maintain a process hierarchy.
Strategic Integrator: Ability to translate high-level business strategy into detailed, executable, and automated process designs.
Tool Proficiency: High comfort with process modeling and governance tools (LeanIX, Jira ) and data visualization platforms.
Influential Communicator: Strong stakeholder management & communication skills, with the ability to explain complex flows to both IT and executive stakeholders.
