About the Position

As Business Process Owner Sales, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Sales Order Processing, Billing, and After-Sales Corrections in alignment with fellow business process owners and organizational objectives. You will drive continuous improvement, standardization, and governance of business processes, procedures, and supporting tools across the end-to-end value chain. By maintaining a holistic understanding of current operations, you will identify improvement opportunities and translate business needs into future process and technology requirements. The role is accountable for driving process excellence, enabling digital transformation, and supporting the successful execution of strategic business initiatives. You will have the mandate to make decisions on current process improvements while defining future requirements and capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Sales Order Processing, Billing and After Sales Corrections in alignment with Business Owner(s) of other functional areas.
  • Enable close collaboration and alignment within the BPO-team and core governance groups as well as establish and moderate Business Process Management meetings within your area of responsibility.
  • Balance global standards with local and regulatory requirements while maximizing business value and process effectiveness.
  • Own process documentation, procedures, and supporting tools (Process Level 3), and oversee BPM initiatives across Process Levels 4 and 5.
  • Serve as the key escalation point beyond the Business Process Manager (BPM) for process-related decisions and issues.
  • Prioritize business requirements and ensure projects are aligned with the approved end-to-end process strategy.
  • Define, monitor, and review process performance metrics to assess effectiveness, efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Establish, facilitate, and govern Business Process Management forums within the area of responsibility.
  • Promote process standardization and ensure close alignment with other Business Process Owners and governance bodies.
  • Agree and manage approved process variants and exceptions with business units and group functions.
  • Ensure process development is aligned with overall business and technology strategies, challenging stakeholders when required to achieve sustainable and cost-effective solutions.

Profile

  • University degree within a relevant field such as Economics or Business Administration with a major in Supply Chain, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP and other IT-tools that Yara use in the organization and processing of Commercial and Supply Chain operations, AI capabilities are a plus.
  • Feel comfortable and secure in providing technical and professional guidance to external or internal stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to see the bigger picture and understanding of competing organizational needs beyond own area of process responsibility (seeing end-to-end processes and organization).
  • Have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and result oriented working style.
  • Well experienced in project management and fluent in English, verbal as well as written.
  • Experience in operating within a process governance organization as well as a good understanding of the Business Process Management concept and methodology.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as well as a broad professional knowledge of supply chain and the process area of responsibility.
  • Experienced in finding cross functional and regional alignment on process changes. Strong in change management.

Additional Information

This role is part of ERP & Processes in the Strategy Executions and Business Transformation Team.

Some infrequent travel required.

Prefered locations are Vilnius or Oslo.
