Job Description

The Business Process Owner (BPO) – Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) for Gas Power Services is responsible for defining, governing, standardizing, and continuously improving the end-to-end contract lifecycle management process across the business. This role ensures commercial contracting processes are efficient, compliant, scalable, and aligned with business objectives, while enabling commercial teams to execute high-quality contracts with appropriate speed, rigor, and risk controls.

As the process owner, this leader will establish the long-term vision and operating model for CLM, drive standard work across regions and business lines, and ensure enabling tools effectively support the process. The role requires close partnership across Commercial, Legal, Finance, Operations, IT, and Process Excellence teams to deliver measurable business value, strengthen governance, and improve the user and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the end-to-end business process owner for Contract Lifecycle Management across Gas Power Services, with accountability for process design, governance, standardization, adoption, training, performance, and continuous improvement. Deliver > 30,000 NVA elimination.
  • Define and maintain the CLM process strategy and multi-year roadmap, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities, operational objectives, compliance requirements, sustainable productivity targets, and business growth needs.
  • Establish and govern standard work for CLM across business lines, regions, and functions, driving simplification, reducing unnecessary process variation, and minimizing customization.
  • Ensure CLM processes are designed to improve customer experience, cycle time, quality, compliance, risk visibility, and overall commercial effectiveness.
  • Own process performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure adoption, efficiency, quality, compliance, and value realization, including delivery of significant non-value-added work elimination across the business.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify process gaps, pain points, and future-state requirements, and translate those needs into prioritized process and system enhancements.
  • Drive external relationship with Docusign vendor including the execution of Scope Of Work (SOW), completeness of phased rollouts, ownership of design reviews, effectiveness of steering committee, and alignment of deployment timeline.
  • Define business requirements and priorities for phased process and capability expansion, including areas such as Parts and Repairs, R1 solutioning, R3 handoff, and other commercial workflows.
  • Evaluate and build business cases for expanded CLM capabilities and adjacent process improvements, including opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and advanced analytics.
  • Act as the primary business partner to IT, Commercial Tools & Processes, and Global Process Excellence teams for solution design, process alignment, testing, deployment, and value tracking.
  • Lead process governance, including stakeholder alignment, decision-making forums, issue escalation, and change control for CLM-related processes and standards.
  • Drive enterprise adoption of CLM processes and tools through change management, communications, training strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communicate process performance, roadmap progress, risks, decisions, and support needs to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Benchmark, share, and incorporate best practices across GE Vernova businesses, P&Ls, and functions to strengthen CLM process maturity and consistency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university or relevant experience..
  • Major experience in Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Process Excellence, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Gas Power Services commercial operating processes and contract execution workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience owning, improving, or governing cross-functional business processes in a complex operating environment.
  • Proven ability to build alignment and influence outcomes across a broad set of stakeholders, functions, and regions.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to synthesize issues, present recommendations, and influence senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of Gas Power commercial tools and processes, including NEX, CPQ, Delegation of Authority (DOA), Finsum, CSA modeling, ERP systems, and related commercial platforms.
  • Experience leading business process transformation, operating model design, or enterprise process standardization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and process performance management.
  • Experience working at the intersection of business process ownership and digital tool enablement.

#LI-Remote - This is a remote positionFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $154,800.00 and $258,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
