The BPE Specialist supports Business Process Excellence initiatives by helping drive continuous improvement, process standardisation, Lean methodology, and operational best practices within the facility. This role partners closely with site leadership, operations, HR, safety, training, and regional BPE resources to support the site’s continuous improvement culture and consistent execution of CEVA Way practices. The role is responsible for supporting site-level Kaizen activity, internal assessments, training, gap closure, process improvement projects, and implementation readiness within the assigned facility.

What You Are Going to Do

  • Serve as the site-level BPE resource supporting Lean methodology, CEVA Way training, and continuous improvement activities within the assigned facility.

  • Coordinate site-level Kaizen activity, including Kaizen submissions, site goals, follow-up actions, and progress tracking.

  • Facilitate and support continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, service, cost, and process consistency.

  • Partner with site leadership and operations teams to identify process gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

  • Conduct site-level internal assessments, including SCA/TCA-related reviews, and assist in building gap plans for areas requiring improvement.

  • Work with site management to close assessment gaps, maintain compliance with CEVA standards, and support operational readiness.

  • Support training for new hires and existing employees on Lean principles, CEVA Way practices, standard work, and process expectations.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, work instructions, visual management tools, and process documentation for the site.

  • Support operational implementations, start-up activities, layout changes, process changes, and customer-driven requirements within the facility.

  • Assist with preparing internal and customer-facing presentations, updates, and summaries related to BPE initiatives and site improvement activity.

  • Monitor site process performance and partner with operations to recommend improvements that support productivity, service, quality, and cost objectives.

  • Update or support updates to site cost models when process changes impact labour, workflow, productivity, or operational assumptions.

  • Participate in site project teams and support completion of assigned action items, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Support green initiatives and sustainability-related improvement opportunities within the facility.

  • Collaborate with Innovation Ambassadors or site leaders to support pilots, testing, and adoption of innovation opportunities within the facility.

  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset by coaching employees and leaders on problem-solving, standard work, waste reduction, and process discipline.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

  • At least two years of logistics, warehousing, operations, continuous improvement, Lean, training, or process-improvement experience preferred. Equivalent education, training, or relevant site experience may be considered.

  • Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environment preferred.

  • Familiarity with Lean principles, Kaizen activity, standard work, visual management, root cause analysis, or problem-solving tools preferred.

Languages and Communication Skills

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with hourly employees, leads, supervisors, managers, site leadership, customer contacts, and cross-functional partners.

  • Ability to train, coach, and influence others in a professional and collaborative manner.

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Ability to use web-based, job-specific, reporting, and operational systems as required.

  • Ability to prepare basic reports, action trackers, presentations, process documentation, and improvement summaries.
