YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Business Process Excellence (BPE) Manager to join our Contract Logistics division in Orchard Hills NSW. Reporting to the BPE Expert, you will lead a team of continuous improvement professionals across multiple sites in Sydney's western and eastern suburbs.

Your mission is to enhance safety, service, and efficiency by implementing lean methodologies, driving innovation, and improving site-level operations. This hands-on role is ideal for a leader with a passion for change, optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of continuous improvement professionals
  • Drive and embed LEAN thinking and operational excellence across multiple warehouse and logistics sites
  • Deliver and support CI projects in areas such as layout redesign, MHE optimisation, time studies, benchmarking and cost savings
  • Oversee measurement of project results including financial benefits and ROI
  • Guide sites in KAIZEN activities, operational modelling, and CEVA classification and cost reviews
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators and ensure standardised BPE tools and practices
  • Collaborate closely with operational leaders and influence across state and regional leadership levels.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate is tertiary qualified in industrial engineering, logistics & supply chain management or similar with proven experience leading continuous improvement in complex operational environments. You will also have:

  • Solid experience and demonstrated success in continuous improvement roles
  • Experience leading or supervising teams
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and financial capability, including P&L understanding
  • Hands-on experience driving change and delivering measurable operational improvements
  • Proficiency in Excel and CI tools; Six Sigma certification highly regarded
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, planning and communication skills
  • Experience in 3PL or automated logistics environments (desirable).

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
