Job Description

Essential Functions/Key Accountabilities:

  • Follow direction provided by Director of Global IS.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to, and enforcing, all safety procedures and policies inside and outside the facility, including use of personal protective and McLanahan equipment as required.
  • Represent McLanahan Corporation in a positive manner both internally and externally while adhering to the organization's core values.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Develop processes, procedures, and programming for varying end-user applications on behalf of the process owner.
  • Implement, test, and support software solutions that meet designated specifications.
  • Design, configure, and implement content management and workflow application solutions.
  • Cleary document problems, analyses, and solutions. Communicate the status of issues to users and management.
  • Manage, administrate, and support information systems.
  • Other duties as required by Technology Group Management.

Education/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems / IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in programming and business application support.
  • Experience in analyzing business processes and transforming requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience supporting an ERP system in programming or business analyst role.
  • Experience developing & consuming APIs or similar ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) technologies.
  • Experience in C# programming and/or databases technologies like MSSQL.
  • Experience with version control.
  • Experience with the following are a plus:
    • McLanahan's current technologies:
      • Epicor Kinetic ERP, HubSpot CRM, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform
    • Web APIs / REST
    • PowerShell Scripting
    • Node JS, Angular, React
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Competencies/ Knowledge/Attributes:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Must have own transportation and be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, if necessary.
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to successfully reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Excited to learn new systems and technologies.

Physical Requirements:

This position is typically located in an office setting and requires sitting and standing for long periods of time. The position requires ambulatory skills sufficient to travel domestically and internationally. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, visual acuity to use a keyboard, and operate standard office equipment. Requires the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of both verbal and written communication.
